I didnt think girls were into porn so much but Im learning about more and more of my girl friends who watch porn. I would say 95-99% of guys watch porn, at least once a month. Anybody got a guess on girls?

Hard to gauge a good estimate without actually surveying, but lately I've also been finding out that there are women out there who watch porn. Here's an interesting stat though.

i think we as men know very little about what women do behind closed doors. heck, i think many women have no clue what other women do behind closed doors.

we do know that a gabillion vibrators are sold every year, so obviously women are masturbating.

the next question then however is how many of them use porn. i suspect the numbers might be low becuase what turns a woman on is being desired by a man. thats 80% of the rush for them - knowing that THEY are turning the guy on. they don't get much of a thrill out of watching some other chic turn some guy on.

Women focus much more on the emotional side (duh). I ride the train to class, and at the station there's a newspaper stand. It sells Playboy, FHM, the works and also books such as:

Boy meets girl
Calender girls (Girls making nude calenders)

It's all literotica, and women will buy it. The whole emotional/romantic crap is emotional porn for women. Women will also watch movies where people have wild sex (with a ton of emotions) and marry afterward.

There is porn for women, we just don't see it as such. (Sex and the City, Desperate Housewives, Grey's Anatomy, Private Practice, etc etc etc.)
