Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.
Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?
You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.
Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.
Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.
You've been "getting ready" for two years.
She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.
Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.
Victory Unlimited said:Although my Gladiator Scenario is still hypothetical, for some, it's already an "experienced" REALITY. Ask General Vulpine...
And one other thing:
Most guys usually have NO idea that they are being invited to a Gladiator Scenario / C0ck Party----they only find out AFTER they've already shown up. This post is to make people aware of just how VISCIOUS and MANIPULATIVE some of the female mindsets really can be.
A woman I met online is doing something similar. She's invited me to meet up at a concert of this local musician she knows (likes); she said I could take a look at my competition, WTF??!!Latinoman said:WOW...I just read this:
She told me that last month; she threw herself a party and invited ALL the guys she knew who were interested in her. At the party, she was doing her little social butterfly thing---never spending too much time with ONE, but flirting with them all. ..
...When I asked her who she ended up with, she said “NOBODY”. But she said she did have FUN watching them jockeying for position though. She thought less of them ALL. Hah! The bored “princess” wins...and I say-----FUKKK THAT.
I would still do my thing as described (get other men's respect)...and then if any of the HB in the party shows an interest...talk with that HB. In fact, I might end up with another HB.
I am NOT a guinea pig for any woman. And NOW that you know this little game of her...next time you two go in a date with her and she turns her face around...be straight to the point: "Hey...are we going to phuck or not?" I mean...not that direct...but you get the point.
She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.
Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.
The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.
You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.
Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.
She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.
Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.
No man it's: Left,right,left,right,up,down,up,down A-B-A-B Start.ER!C L!VE said:This ALWAYS works: Up Up Up Up A B C Down Down X Y Z Start
I agree 100%.JustDoItAlways said:It is important to post follow-up this-is-what-finally-happened posts. The board cannot really help anyone if we don't know what finally happened in the end.
Thanks.
You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.
For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.
Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.
The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.
Informative enough to waste 4 months of effort on? Perhaps the purpose of your life is to serve as a warning for the rest of us?Victory Unlimited said:She would never commit to a date and time. No, it was always "iffy".
So it's an old story guys. She had LOW INTEREST in me from start to finish. I have no doubts now that any chick who would knowingly invite a guy to an event and act the way she did is obviously ON THE FENCE about the guy in the first place.
She wanted to keep me spinning as a DECORATIVE plate so it would boost her value amongst her friends and with her "old" boyfriend who I'm sure WAS and still IS banging her. But the experience was still informative.
That girl had so many red flags to start with that I wouldn't have stuck around to see it finished.Victory Unlimited said:So it's an old story guys. She had LOW INTEREST in me from start to finish.
Red Flag for having kids. Half of her time is devouted for her work and the other half for her kids, which will leave the least amount of time for you. Not to mentioned that her kids will come first, she will see you as their next daddy and you will be raising someone elses kids and the fact that their father will never really be out of the picture. That is a tall order to start with.Victory Unlimited said:She’s a professional woman with 2 kids,
Red Flag. I wouldn't call it a snag, more like I am bad with money.Victory Unlimited said:currently living with her mom temporarily due to a snag in her home buying plans. UPDATE: She recently just closed on her brand new house a couple of weeks ago, so she’s in the process of moving NOW.
Another red flag for lying. Women who say they are shy are usually not and tend to be a demon in a sack behind closed doors. Notice that she mentioned "she been in 3 LTRs her whole life"? what she failed to mentioned are all the other guys she fvcked on a STR's which will probably be in the double digits zone. She is no angel. Women hide short term relationships in order to not be deemed a slvt.Victory Unlimited said:She’s a shy chick (so she says) who has only been in 3 LTRs her whole life.
A month ago was November, and back whenever, VU said the chick was moving. Moving and unpacking takes a considerable amount of time. It's not really 4 months, it's 3.Victory Unlimited said:The Gladiator Scenario actually happened. AND with the girl in question. It took place a month ago at her housewarming party. By this time I had begun to lose all interest in this chick, so when she called out of the blue and invited me, I was surprised but NOT impressed.
That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?
She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."
She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.
I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.
Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.
