Between the number close and the first date is where a huge amount of flaking occurs. This is where you need to take the fvcking situation by the horns and make her WANT to meet up with you. Fun and flirty text messages for a couple of weeks works very well for me. You need to amplify during that time, and THEN hit her up for a date (if she doesn't do it first).

Ever since I've started doing this, I've had a much higher rate of success between the number close and the first date. A bit of patience, flirting, and humour goes a long way when building rapport through texting.

More attractive women need more rapport because they have LOTS of options. You have to make yourself the best option instead of every other guy who's asked her for her number.
 

Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.
