There's a girl who works at the bank I go to frequently. We talk about each others lives every time I go in. I started getting a crush on her. She seemed so interested in me, too. Because she works at a very small/quiet bank, I decided it would be really inappropriate to ask for her her number there. I didn't want to embarrass her or make her feel uncomfortable at work. Instead, I gave her a quick note with my number on it. I just told her that I think she is pleasant and it would be lovely to take her out to dinner some time. She never contacted me. Now I'm wondering if I should just avoid that bank from now on? I don't want to seem clingy or like I'm trying to see her after she obviously rejected me.

I did the same thing to a cashier once at a grocery store. Don't change your patterns. Just go about your business as usual. The only way you'll seem clingy is if you keep asking her out or why she never texted you or complimenting her or smiling cheesily at her.

Just go in there, do your business (whatever withdrawal or deposit you have to do) and leave. Don't make small talk. Just say hi, maintain strong eye contact (it will make her want to sh!t in her pants) do your business and leave.

Act like her saying no was never a big deal.

Stop taking random chicks out to dinner...

Walks in park, ice cream, out for a drink...cheap things...

She ended up contacting me today to politely reject me. I guess I'll go with what the first response was. Act like it's not a big deal and keep doing what I need to there.
