I liked this girl (a little) last year when she had a bf from another school. We were always good friends so you'd think my chance to hook up with her was blown. But then I just stopped talking to her. I wouldn't answer her calls, or even say hi when I saw her. She dumped her bf, and everybody told me that she liked me SO much. I didn't believe them until she admitted it to me!

Anyway, she came to my game yesterday and afterwards we talked for like an hour and a half, mostly about nice guy vrs. jerks. She said that ALL girls only like overly nice guys and that it is a girls dream to have a guy be extremely nice to her all the time. We argued about it a while and I wanted to show her what happenned with me and her (she started to like me only when I stopped talking to her.) I think she only said that so I would be nice to her again. But I just LOVE watching her puzzled and confused. :D

Should I start being nice to her or remain the jerk that has gotten her chasing me?
 

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

read the bible...read pook's "Be a Man". don't be a jerk but dont let her walk all over you and shower her in compliments. be a man, do what you feel like doing instead of becoming her emotional tampon.

Yeah I definitely do NOT let her walk all over me at all, maybe I should start being nicer tho? I couldn't believe she was arguing with me that girls hate jerks and prefer men that are extremely nice to them! She only liked me when I started ignoring her!
