Not long ago, Ross Douhat over at The NYT wailed:
Will the millennials come back to community?

"In the future, there will be only one 'ism'—Individualism—and its rule will never end. As for religion, it shall decline; as for marriage, it shall be postponed; as for ideologies, they shall be rejected; as for patriotism, it shall be abandoned; as for strangers, they shall be distrusted"
The individualism pundits were horrified over in The Early 10s went into something of a recession from '16-forward, with The Anglosphere at least being heavily divided between The Woke and The Red Pilled... Perhaps the rise of Single and Happier among both genders is the beginning of something approaching a revival of that individualism
Unless kids are in the picture, the case for being heavily tied down to one person is weaker than Hayden Panettiere's chances of appearing in the inevitable Heroes revival, in anything other than CGI
