"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

that girl i met at the bar, originally had a date with her planned for this monday, called her up to confirm and she didnt pick up (i know tis her number) and so i texted and left a message asking her to call me when she could. this is not the first time she hasn't replied so i want to give her one last chance going out with me on monday... what's a good ultimatum i could give her??? i need to give it to her by tomorrow or latest monday morning... cos we're originally supposed to go out in the afternoon.. i wanna give her one last chance before i cut her off... guys out there, give me a good way to put it!

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

If she ignores you then she isn't interested, move on, don't give her any more chances. I have waited for chicks many times and it always ends up the same.

Why is it that important that you confirm the date? Maybe it's a cultural thing, so maybe i'm completely off track here.

In my eyes this ultimatum thing appears WAY too desperate. Just look at her actions. If she doesn't show up and doesn't find some really good excuse and really makes up for it NEXT her.

Please don't go threatening the girls that you would leave her if she doesn't give you the attention. Wether she is a ***** or you are not getting her attention, which could be a hint at looking at your actions and appearance. In either case, NEXT her. SO WHAT?

At least that's my opinion.

Isn't it one of the first things to learn on our way to be DJs that desperation and oneintis are the single most important mistakes made?

Listen Jakeboy,,,,,,, If it was someone she really liked, she would stay near the phone so she won't miss your call.

Another thing, don't make a date out of the blue once you meet someone, take down their phone number and then call them up and then make a date on the spot. Saves you trouble.

“The 22 Rules That Flip the Script With Women… And How You Can Use Them Tonight”

Most guys accidentally kill attraction before they even speak. They assume they need a bigger bank account, a better physique, or smoother lines. They miss the point.

Female desire operates on a specific set of psychological triggers.  Break them, and you're invisible. Follow them, and you become magnetic.

I learned this the hard way. Years of freezing up. Getting friend-zoned. Watching other guys walk away with the girl I wanted. Then I discovered a set of 22 simple rules that rewired my entire approach.

ah DJDamage, thats a sound piece of advice.

hey MoveYourAss, i'm not desperate and i don't have oneitis for this chick. i just hate people who flake out on me with no cause. well, i guess in the end its up to the individual, one guy gave me the advice of "three strikes and you're out" but i guess the big picture is i gotta NEXT her.

but if anyone can answer this question, i would be hella glad.
why in the world would a woman willingly agree to go out with you and suddenly ignore you in the end and flake out on you. guys who've been in this position before... do tell!

As DJ was saying, there can be 101 reasons why someone skips out. The problem here is likely that you have no history with her, so making a date with her doesn't have much significance to her.
If she is attractive (or socially very active) she probably gets alot of offers, and if someone comes along that seems more interesting than you, or she gets busy doing something she's interested in (like a hobby) your 'date' fades from memory.

Hey jakeboy,
she is giving you turnrounds and you are still sticking around her?

throw her out of your life like a used condom in the dustbin.

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

wow. she finally decided to reply. she said :'hey jake, sorry i have been really really busy these past few days.. i have to reconfirm tomorrow with you, call me later"

and i told her that i would call her the next morning, told her to go do her thang and get some rest today...

sudden turnaround of events. (again) so i'll go along with it one final time and see what she say tomorrow morning... doubt she'd be too much of a bit*h... but i want to see what she says.
