I met a chick in class, got her number, called her. She went to brazil last week. I know I should call her soon.

Meeting up for coffee or lunch is cool right? THing is I don't know a place in town that would be cheap and good for lunch. As for coffee I think asking her to meet me at a random starbucks sounds cheesy.

Any suggestions appreciated.
 

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

Meeting for coffee is perfect. You don't want to spend a lot of money on a girl you don't even know. Your job is not to impress her (e.g. with dinners and BS). You're job is to impress her by having her impress you. She hasn't earned an expensive meal from you yet.
