"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

I been dating this chinese girl for more than one month now. she just finished school n joined the same university that i went to. I am her first boyfriend. That is, she has never had a boyfriend before me.

Everything is working fine. She is totally dedicated to me and all.

But now she wants me to help her with her university projects. She did a little bit of her project and was complaining over the phone that she cannot do this n cannot do that. So she came over and I did the rest of the project for her, showed her how to submit and all that. Now, she is coming over again tomorrow for me to help her with another of her projects. Her attitude is NOT "do my project, be my slave". Her attitude is "please help me doing this...I want to learn (from you)".

What do I get in return? She treats me (takes me to dinner and lunch) at fancy restaurants.

Am I doing the right thing by helping her and listening to all her complaining?

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

This is my patented method of working out whether doing favours for a girl is worth it (TM)

1) Calculate the amount of time you spend helping her

2) Calculate the cost of the stuff she does for you (ie. taking you out to fancy restaurants)

3) Work out your average freelance salary, which might be 150-200% of your regular salary

4) If her rewards are higher than your time, then yes, its worth it.

you mentioned her ethnicity, are you telling all of us that you are dating some exotic creature?

you helping her out when she asks, she telling you she's never had a boyfriend before, she pays you with with food...

you're not the alpha, she is, and she's a manipulative one too which you suspect already.

Tell her that being repayed with food is getting boring and you want her to be more creative. Make it not too serious and see what she does.

If she gets offended she is either using you or isn't much fun anyway.

If she does go along with it she might be using you but at least she's fun.

Women come over asking for help because they want you to get in their pants. After you are finished helping in some area, you should initiate "helping" in others.

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.
