"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

I wrote a few days ago about a hot girl from the internet that I met at the mall, and I was really taken by her appearance. I've asked her on different occasions for us to meet up again, and she said she'd like to but she's too busy with work because she works everyday and with school.

At first I gave her the benefit of the doubt, but I think I should next her because she's not showing the interest that an interested person would demonstrate. Sometimes she comes online and doesn't even contact me.

Should I maybe show up at the mall one day (she works there at the mall where we met) and pretend that I'm just there buying stuff or whatever to try to salvage something out of this.. or should I just next her?

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

Sounds like low IL to me.

No, you should not appear at her job without her knowing because it will look like you are stalking her.

The best thing to do is wait a couple of days and ask her out again. If she gives you BS , then next.

I don't like to say this but it sounds low IL to me.

If I was you I'd ask her out one more time, if she comes up with another excuse, next her.

Hate to be negative but...

Double J,

Don't go back to see that girl. If she is not responding back to you when your online , and she says shes busy with work and school, shes blowing you off dude. I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but if she liked you, she would have made time to be with you. Its not worth coming off weak by showing up at her work. You have to much going on to worry about one chick's bull****. If I were you, I would go to that same mall, and just cold approach the hotties that walk by once every five minutes, then when one sticks with you. Tgo into the store where she works and drive her nuts lol

Well we're not getting the whole story here.

Have you asked her once or several times? If you said once, then no big deal - she probably is considering it is the HOLIDAYS where vacations, school finals, extra work is coming into play here.

If you've asked her several times already, she might not like you that much.

I dunno why some of you want to jump the gun so fast. Easier said than done fools. In the first couple of dates you gotta be flexible.

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

Deathdealer,

The second outing is still pending. I've only seen her once, and since then I've told her to go and get coffee one day and that we're going to have to play a little one on one (since she loves basketball and claims she's good). But apparently she's super busy.

Another tidbit of information:
The day we met in person, she was already interested in some guy in school, but the guy had a g/f so she had to forget about that.

I'm only persistent with this girl because I thought she was very attractive, but she seemed super shy. So it could be a combination of things - she's shy, she's busy, she might not be interested..

Whatever the case may be, I don't mind nexting her if she has low interest level. Not going to get all bent out of shape over a good piece of @$$.

DJ, I'm not sure if you want to close this topic and move on.

Anyway, all the info in the beginning have red flags about her IL.
