IME IOIs are just that.

Proximity.

Anytime they allow the space between the two of you to decrease or stay close long enough, they show you a great signal.

The opposite is true, if you get into her personal space and she withdrew you have your answer.

Most IOIs are BS and be confused with her being friendly or her general personality. The ones I do think are actual indicators are:

1). She gives you that look, IYKYK

2). She buys you shvt really soon

3). If you are going after another race, they will give you clues that they are attractive to your race in particular

Not necessarily the most common, but pretty solid ones:

1. Touching you upper arm (bicep) or shoulder with her full open hand. (Touching your forearm quick with a few fingertips is a neutral/friend gesture while making a point.)

2. Turning 90 degrees in her bar stool to face you directly. Big bonus points if she opens her legs after turning to face you (as opposed to keeping her knees close together).

3. Lower lip bite. (This one is not common and happens fast, so it can be easily missed.)

The very first one here I noticed a lot.

Second this. A woman playing the eye contact game with you 50 feet away is rarely an ioi. A lot of women these days need attention like water. Proximity seems to be the only reliable ioi these days.

That's not necessarily an IOI. Often, it's nothing more than a self-soothing tick.

Real IOIs are subtle and outside conscious control (ie. blushing, involuntary mirroring of your gestures, unusual shyness or awkwardness, a sudden flash of anger or resentment, heightened emotional responsiveness, friends smirking at the girl when they see the guy she likes, etc).

Things like smiling or staying near you can simply be politeness, especially in a social setting. The key is recognizing what they can’t control, not what they’re doing to be nice.

Most common for me is them dropping stuff, like a cellphone or their coffee cup.

That's not necessarily an IOI. Often, it's nothing more than a self-soothing tick.

It seems like an unconscious thing. Maybe it's not an IOI. Maybe it's Genuine Desire/Arousal.

In my experience, to read IOI properly, you need to read the situation & scene you are in.

An IOI in a gym, at a job, at a bar/party is going to vary.
