situation:
- matched 18 year old girl on tinder
- doesn’t use phone much, 12 hour replies constantly
- large gaps between texting, but sends like 10+ messages at a time
- interest level seems moderate
- claimed to be busy and flaked the day before date (exam and finals period)

Am I overthinking or displaying signs of oneitis cause I feel like i’m getting run around. The 12 hour replies are honestly abnornal and ****ty but I think I want to give it a chance. She flaked a day before first date because of upcoming exams and study load. Played it off cool and suggested another time, as I want to give it one more chance.

Am I right for doing this? She’s told me to wait till her exams are done or some bs. From what i’ve read on sosuave and my general intuition I feel I shouldn’t wait on woman in general, but this could be legit. What would you do?

If you really want to, hit her up when the exams period stops with a simple "Hey i'm going to (insert some place here) on Tuesday wanna join me"?. She says yes, sweet you got yourself a date, she says no don't contact her again simple as.

Thanks for the advice guys. I knew it would be bad to focus attention on this one chick, but it’s someone different than I usually date (quite younger, also unexperienced). Will hit up other chicks/study and hit her up after exams.

18 year olds aren't busy
18 year olds use their phone all day
people who don't use their phone much would meet guys in a coffee shop, not on a phone app.

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

Should not have suggested a time immediately...would have waited a week or do of you went thst route.

Stop thinking about her and start finding and dating other women. Stop being lazy.
