So by accident I met on a meetup event the flatmate of my main plate, a girl with whom my plate became quite good friends. She went to this meetup without knowing I would be there and vice-versa, but we both knew who the other was because my plate had shown pics of us to each other. I'm assuming that flatmate may be worried that a$$hole boyfriend might find out she was out, and that this is the real motivation for asking him to keep quiet. A$$hole boyfriend will think she was out trying to find someone to monkey branch too.
