"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

Men willing to change their names for marriage - cringeworthy

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

I would never expect a woman to change her name if I found myself in the unlikely scenario of wed-lock again, however if she wanted to I get that it is a tradition.

A man changing his name for marriage is just weak behavior. And I promise that any man that agrees to this is just BEGGING his bride to cheat on him with a man with a better masculine frame. To tell the truth the only times IMO that this MIGHT make sence is if a guy is marring a women who has no brothers and they need someone to carry on the family name, since it will DIE otherwise, and you have brothers with sons that can carry on. OR, if it's a couple of gay dudes that marry, that all makes sense to me.

There has to be a reasonable and logical reason for you to do this, otherwise it's just pandering to the woman... Who might say she likes this, but in truth she and all her female friends emotionally think it's weak, which actually looks WEAKER as time goes by.

The writer is your average ranting femi-nut-ist.

However, you can simply use reverse psychology on a woman you want to marry. Like she said, a lot of women grow up fantasizing about their wedding day, dress, taking their husband's name, blah...blah...blah...so treat it like a regular sh!t test.

If she says she doesn't want to take your name then you know she is obviously not the one for you. You say "Yeah, I agree. It makes us seem too close. You're just my wife not my soulmate."

Lol.

Her hamster will go into overdrive and she will start firing questions at you. Don't engage her anymore after that.

Any woman who won't take your last name, dump. She isn't a flexible giver. And only flexable givers deserve to be married. A woman who isn't a flexible giver isn't even worthy to be a plate.

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

This woman keeps her husbands balls where she keeps her car keys. I feel bad for him. She probably makes him wear one of those c0ck cage contraptions when she's not around.

I don't really care, so it wouldn't have been a biggie to me, but no way in hell I will change my name.

fun fact.

in eastern normally a man can take his wife family name when her family was considered more influential or powerfull then your family name, most of these also was a arranged marriage so the dude would join her wife family and keep the bussiness going(or dynasty or whatever was the case), they also had some really strange things about adoptions so tehy could keep the family name going in case there was not heir(lack of a son, or all died)
