I used to have a lot of success on MySpace and POF, but with the new messaging format not including a subject line, it's tougher to stand out. Not impossible, but not as responsive as before, so I am trying out public places instead to meet people.

I have no problem meeting women at bars, have a few good tactics and openers I've used before, however; I am not a fan of bars overall, though considering going there regularly to meet women since meeting them on the street just seems awkward. From what I read recently, very few women met on the street end up as dates, etc. That seems to match my own experience from when I was in my late teens, I've only slept with a few women I met on the street.

Do you meet women this way and is it as effective for you as other ways? What works for you, what doesn't? Any openers? I have some openers for grocery stores but need to practice them.

I tried daygame in the city & didn't have much success.

I approached lots of women, but didn't have much success.

I found myself more successful Online.

Read Sideways thread on approaches.
