"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

So as you all know, my marriage is below average at best. I teach at university, lots of hot chicks around regularly. I struggle not to act on clear invitations from women. Today, a hot chick follows me right out of the coffee house and strikes up a conversation with me. She clearly wanted me to hit on her. It took all I had to only hold polite conversation and move on with my day. Advice? Thoughts?

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

So you're thinking bad idea to act on it at my university?
If you want to act on that insatisfaction i would suggest doing it somewhere the chances of getting caught are very low, at university where you work far from best spot.

"Give me the highest grades and recommendations, help pay my bills and do whatever I ask, or I'll let your wife and the school know, and file a rape charge".

Perhaps she knows he is surrounded by pu$$y, and is just waiting for him to fvck up...that's why no action at home.

They like it to be the man's fault. I'd leave that chick alone (at school) and instead look elsewhere. Another school, maybe?
