"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

Living only an hour from New Orleans (though traffic once you get to New Orleans during Mardi Gras week takes an hour to get through...) I decided to go down with a 'friend' and check out what was happening on Bourbon Street. We got up there, met with some of my friends, and all went to one of the parades - the first parade picture is from in front of my house, last Friday... the rest are New Orleans.

Oh, and a word about the plastic roses - they were her idea, and worked great. Wal-Mart sells them for $3/dozen... and when coupled with even a mediocre set of beads, normal girls will turn into lunatics exposing anything you want in hopes that you'll throw it down to them... As you can see, we were lucky enough to get a spot on a balcony overlooking Bourbon Street, which is no simple task in the mass confusion known as "Mardi Gras". Oh yeah, she likes girls too - this one might just be a keeper... ;)

Here's a preview of what you'll see inside... yes, I know, but I just got really, really bored.

Now, on to the legal stuff. The following link contains material of an adult nature. If you are offended by nudity, particularly by the exposing of breasts by females of the age of consent (although the last few girls did look pretty young...) then you should not follow the link contained in this thread. Furthermore, if you are under the age of 18 (21 in some areas), or if your community has laws restricting your access to such material, you are not permitted to follow the link to my website's image gallery.

Okay, now on to the pictures!

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

Nice site, but can someone please explain to me the culture of exchanging beads with exposure to breasts or other body parts? Do you win something at the end of you have the most beads or what?

Nope, it just seems to be a tradition... nothing is won except for the beads themselves. With so many hundreds of thousands of tourists, it would be rather hard for anyone to determine who has the best beads.

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

I have to say, I think it's really ****ed up when for most of the year you go to a bar and you have to endure painstakingly boring conversation and laugh at people's stupid jokes just to have a SMALL CHANCE of getting action in the future (maybe not even in THAT night).

Or you can go to mardi gras, throw a set of 50 cent plastic beads, and get an all access pass.

WTF?

Yeah, America's great, isn't it? :D

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.
