Don't use openers.

Just notice something funny/interesting/new and comment about it; ask a question; just start a random conversation. Openers rarely come off as natural, and if it's one that the girl has heard before, you've killed your chances before you even started running game proper.

"Hi, what's your name?"
Just introduce yourself, ask what's up, questions about her, what she's doing, talk about the mall, any common ground, whatever. This is a skill that comes only with practice. Anything canned or rehearsed is a total waste of time.
