OK i'll keep it short and sweet - So the latest target girl (not a oneitis by any means) who i have been kind of "on and off" with for a bit, just was rushed to hospital last night for an operation, relatively minor and is fine now just has to rest for a while...how would you guys reccomend i make the most of this situation?

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

Maybe you should just sit and think about that for a second.


As for something you should do, I'd just send a card.

I'm glad you realized I was kidding.

But still. How much advice can you really need for something like this? There isn't much you can do.

Maybe write on the card, "Remember, once you get out, I'm always availiable to help with physical therapy! ^_^"
