Ive noticed ive closed myself off alot to the possibility of new friendships with people. It stems from a general mistrust of people. I think its good to keep your circle small but at the same time I feel like alot of us find ourselves alone more often then not. And especially all of us plugged into our phones 24/7.
Lots of forever aloners around for sure. More then there were back in the early 2000's id say. Seems more prevalent especially with our technology taking the forefront of social interaction.
