"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

Ha, so this gal im really trying to get over (bad oneitis), was chatting to me today, i know she has a bf, which she personally hasnt told me about (any idea why? shes never mentioned this guy to me at all, but i KNOW she has a bf) and she was talking about this gal she thinks i like who has a bf (another gal not her)

i said basicaly im taking a step back with her, weve been texting alot and i said i hadnt text her back from the other day because she said she hates it when guys she likes dont text her back, so i told this gal i thought i would see if not texting her back would work and make her think about me more, she replied "but why? what boy would think like that? you think too deeply"

so i said "a boy who isnt gonna take **** from a gal whose just out for attention, a boy who wants to know whether or not she is truly intrested in him, a boy who listens to what a gal says and acts accordingly, and a boy who knows from past expierences that what a gal wants isnt exactly what she needs"

she said "right, im a bit speechless actually, you certainly have learnt from your past, ull go far like that"

i thought it was pretty funny actually, shocked her a lil bit, she used me for attention when i was into her, but im changing and i think this convo i had with her basically made her think, that im not taking **** from anyone anymore!

and its certainly helped me get over her a lil bit more!

just needed to tell someone

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

Haha good work.

Its fun sometimes spitting some of the stuff you read to them. Like David D in his book mentioned talking to a girl about how males and females communicate on different 'levels', I did and she was completely speachless. Had this amazed look on her face then finally said oh my god you get it, you're so perceptive.

I'm like yeah that right, and now I'm off to talk to a girl who'll do more than look at me like a cow looks at an oncoming train.

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.
