"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

Hey all I am a grad student and my one class has 4 attractive chicks in it. I am one of the few guys (It is Library school after all) in the class and easily the best looking. I have managed to initiate conversations with all four of them on different occasions. I know atleast one is not interested, but their might be hope with the other three (hard to tell)

Here is my slight worry or dilemma. Obviously the guy has to be the initiator (I know that) and aggressive if he wants to get with one of these chicks. Chatting up with these chicks before class or on class break is one thing, but my problem lies after class is over. The class only meets once a week. In my belief, If I try and follow these chicks or leach on to them after class every week, I will come across as desperate. However, if I don't try and catch up with them after class, I will come across as too indifferent or uninterested. Anyone else ever think of this? Is their a solution to my problem or am I just plain old thinking too much as usual.

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

In "The Game," Style said that out of all the women he layed as a pua, a librarian gave him the best sex. I like smart girls, too.

I would say approach the one you like least, preferably within earshot of the one you like the most. Ask her to lunch or to study together, something that is *almost* certainly not a date. Then go and have fun, but don't treat it as a date, except maybe to flirt. She will probably tell the girl you like all about you, but even if not, the girl you like most will be jealous. By doing this, you demonstrate value and social proof.

Uh, you don't have to follow the girl, nor do you have to "create conversations" with a girl. Say a couple things here and there, body/eye language speaks the rest - the most important thing you should think about is "getting her number."

I'm also in a class with an HB once a week. Thursday I chatted her up for most of the class and did some light kino. I talked with her on the way out of class as she walked to her dorm. I said, "We should hang out some time," she agreed, I said, "Lemme get your phone number," and handed her my phone.

After going to a concert last night, I made out with her when I dropped her off at her dorm. What's that? 5 days?

You're making it a bigger deal than it really is. :p

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.
