I've searched around but haven't found any threads on lubricants. Most water-based lubricants tend to get sticky and dry out too quickly. I've read that silicone-based lubricants don't have these downsides.

Having said that: Which (silicone-based) lubricant would you recommend for condomless sex?

Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.

I'd say it's water-based, but I recommend KY Touch Warming. Simply amazing!

Never had to use lube for sex though. If it's dry just spit on it or lick on it!

Thanks for the answers! I did notice that there are a lot more water-based lubes around. Which ones are better: water or silicon based?

I have to say water based. I havn't researched it, but water-based just seems so much more natural and safe. I would imagine clean-up is easier (silicon lasts longer because it resists washing off or drying out) and it has to be safer health-wise. I relate it to the controvesy between saline vs. silicon breast implants. Saline (salt water) is considered by many to be safer and non-toxic versus silicon which isn't a natural component of the body. Basically just be careful with the chemicals you use on your body. I'd feel much more comfortable using a water-based product on my body versus a silicon-based product, even if the water-based product doesn't perform as well.
