"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

My gf and I both attend colleges that are very close to each other. And so, while we are at school, we can see each other often and have a normal relationship.

Over the summer, however, we live far enough apart that we can only see each other at most once every other week. To make up for it, she calls me almost every night.

Last night, though, my gf admitted that she was a little worried about how our relationship seems to be stagnating into nothing more than an exchange of trivialities each day. Not that we don't enjoy joking with each other and sharing amusing little anecdotes, but she seems to think a relationship ought to be more.

I think it's just a function of the physical seperation and the boredom of our everyday lives. After all, it's much easier to be emotionally (and physically) intimate when you're face to face. Besides, it's less than a month before we go back. Still, it worries her, and I don't want her IL to drop. . Any ideas?

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

When she calls, just tell her you are busy with friends or something (and try and be busy with friends when you say this, or tell her you are tired or something0 , and you will call her back later, then dont call her for a couple days. I think your problem is that you are away from each other for the summer

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.
