Well, I have not yet got a girl friend but that is my new years resolution and it is also in my prayers. NowI have been seeing something odd. I heard to look beyond the surface of all things becuase things will appear in the oddest forms as a sign to learn from. I first noticed this in a pop-up. This pop-up helped me. The other day fate caused a prep from school, who I hardly talk to, to walk into were I work and have to wait. Since this happened we had a long convo and I got to meet somebody new. Then I was skating Friday and I am hitting on this girl sitting a couple of tables away when she calls my friend 1 over and told him to tell friend 2 to stop looking at her. I later asked him who she was and she turns out to be the best friend of my neighbor, who I am also friends with. So now I must work with fate to get to know this girl. That was a little off subject but I wanted to give you some background information about my experiences. Now back to were I was coming from, look at everything you see in detail. Look beyond the normal, try to make everything fit into your life. You are living a puzzle, look for every piece as it comes together. Sorry about this but I think it is something everyone needs to know.
"I just moved here from Florida."
That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?
She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."
She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.
I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.
Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.
