i've been in a ltr for quite a while now and i'm getting bored, about ready to end it. i'm having a hard time seeing the pro's and con's of a ltr.

convince me that long term relationships are better than short term relationships or vice versa.

thanks to those who reply.

Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.

personal preferences. flings just annoy me, I prefer the LTR. Flings have 10x more drama than LTRs.

I prefer to stay in relationships as long as I feel like staying in them. If I'm getting bored, I let her know and either it gets exciting again or I break it off. If I'm having a good time though, I'll stick with it.

It's all a matter of personal preference, but if you're ready to end it now - END IT NOW. Don't stretch it out and beat a dead horse.

It is really fun to get back into the singles field after being in a LTR for a while. Be confident in your abilities and hit on those women!

I love variety and being single right now suits me just fine, after being in an LTR for 1.5 years.
