umm diablo, do you creep up behind these girls and hide ur camera while snapping away or do you actually ask can you take these pics?

The group shot was taken for fun - the ones I showed are about 5% of the ones I took that night - I've never once had any problems with taking a picture of a girl. Even in the case that I don't know them (and most of the girls in any pictures you'll see of mine I know well... some better than others... ) they never object; why would they?

diablo: What is the purpose of you taing all these pics everywhere u go? And by seeing what u have shown us, i like your hobby, and if u ever come to South Africa, u have urself a job as a cameraman garanteed Job comes with several advantages.... Just a thought.

Anyways... If i were to ask the ppl i work with if they would want to post pics from where YOU are, would you take pics for us? (we will obviously pay you for it)

Actually I just got a job as a photographer with a studio here in town... though they only do portraits and things of that nature, no party pictures or snapshots... still, I've learned more in one or two training sessions (and I still have a few more weeks of training to go) then I have on my own reading books and articles about photography... (I've got my 'party' camera and a pseudo-DSLR... Minolta DiMage 7i... though I'm saving up a few weeks to get the Olympus E-300 DSLR).

As for the "purpose" of taking pictures, there is none. Most nights I go out I don't bring a camera along. The only times I'll have one with me is if it's a 'special occasion' such as a friends birthday, a christmas party, halloween, etc etc etc. When I wasn't used to going out much, several years back, I'd bring a cam everywhere - now that it's become commonplace, it takes something worthwhile to get me to bring one out with me. If you wanted to look deeper, I guess the "reason" I take pictures at parties is so that I can look back at them when I'm a senile old 89 year old and say "Da*n, I've had a good life".

I don't get the question you asked me at the end. Could you rephrase it? From what I understand, you and your co-workers will pay me to take pictures of the city I live in?

Yeah thats waht i said I'm gonna speak to them tonight about it. I'll PM you and let you know... What I get payed is R50 Per club, Plus Free entry ( I take about 60 pics MINIMUN per club) which takes me about 30 minutes. I'll let you know, though, its just an idea of mine which i think would be good, and seeing as you ENJOY taking pictures, i thought that you could make yourself some cash on the side as well
