"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

Well typically this is true. But that doesn't mean she will wait for you forever. If you don't make a move on a chick soon enough, eventually you'll just end up getting friendzoned the same way a nice guy does. Like I said, she will eventually forget about you and move onto some other guy who WILL make a move.
Doesn't matter.

I've had situations where I was friends with a woman for years before sleeping with her. I feel no urgency with women. I will make a move when I feel like it.. not when she wants me too. And if that makes her lose interest then she was never that interested. Its really that simple.

When you work around what women want you paint yourself as the lower value person. The higher value person has no urgency to do anything. The urgency is for the lower value person.

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

Then you never really were 'friends' with her, meaning she never fully knew you. Or you changed in an extraordinary way very rapidly to which you essentially became a whole new person.

A woman's interest/attraction towards you is not stagnant, it can definitely change.

You two made some good points. I agree with Urbanyst that it's probably better to not feel a sense of urgency with a woman. If the spark is real then it will be there two weeks later. And if it's gone then it was just chemicals. And if you can get one hot girl then you can get another.

But ImTheDouble is right about the friend zone. But at the same time I am not friends with this young woman. Like the next day that I saw her we didn't talk or make any sort of contact. So there really isn't a way for me to get friendzoned because there is enough distance and that actually works to my advantage.

What's funny is that since all of this I've started dating two women. It's like I don't want to make this girl out to be too big of a deal or something.

This is weird.

I can tell that she likes me too. Just from the way that she acted on the phone when we argued it was like I was her boyfriend. Perhaps me ignoring her got her more attracted to me.

Is this what they mean by when you aren't looking for a relationship that it finds you? Or maybe it's just a ****ed up case of our childhood wounds matching perfectly. And usually in those situations you don't want to ****.

Either way it's confusing and frustrating as hell. I'm not sure if I should stay away or just go towards it.
I can't tell if this is true or not.

If it is, by the time you 'figure it out' the girl is already married and pregnant with no more room for any more guy friends in her life.

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.
