One of my standard routines was a used to send them a link to a virtual pet. And then say hey if we going to have an online wedding we should at least get a dog. Of course there are online chapels of love. Groan.
Anyway basically make it more and more ridiculous and then say or we could just meet up and have a drink coffee whatever.
Now before the righteous pedestalising overinvestment crowd startup. Yep I invested. Everytime I made up or stole a short routine I shoved it in Excel. I was the copy paste King. Self amusement guys if you're not having fun why are you doing it
