So this girl has been liking me asks me to prom. She does it in a way that I can't really say no. She says, "When we go to prom should be go to yours or mine" I'm standing there like :confused: So I kinda gave her the power. Well I got the power back and called her and was like "we need to talk". I told her I didn't plan on going and gave her a bs reason like "I didn't save up for prom." She was disappointed and gave a lil "you suck" response but nothing serious. She said she would call me tomorrow. The boy got game:cool: Do you guys think I didn't come off soft but not as an A-hole either?
 

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

I don't know what your reason was but you should have told her the truth i guess unless she is a drama queen or something that should be the best way.

You did handled it well and it was a great excuse so GJ!:D
