"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.

I've been thinking a lot for a few years, and have come to the conclusion that I'm thinking too much!

All my problems come down to me "hyping" my fears by visualising the worst case scenario (by now it's almost automatic). I've recently experimentet with actively thinking less (d'oh), didn't really work!

I would love to hear your stories on how you stopped thinking (so much) and got smarter/better/happier/etc as a result of it - hope you understand the question.

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

What you are describing isn't thinking, it's worrying. The difference between the two is that thinking eventually produces answers that a person can act upon. Conversely, worrying is just spinning your wheels about worse case scenarios without making an effort to find a solution. If you can understand the difference, you may be able to realize your own solution to your problem.

welcome to my world
^ what Francisco said, and...

...I realized worrying is pointless. I realized that I cannot control what other people think of me, what they do, or what they may choose to do as a result of my actions. The only person I can control is myself and my own thoughts, so why bother wasting my time worrying about things I have no control over whatsoever?

Watching the movie Fight Club reiterated this for me...also, see the first quote in my signature...

I went through this. A few years ago I became a worry free person. This radical change in mindset made me more calm/laid back but it didn't make me smarter/happier. I now live with the mentality of living for today, never worrying about the future.

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.
