Leeds...

This has nothing to do with H&F, (shoot me down if needs be!) but I've noticed that a few of the UK based H&F regulars seem to live in or be from Leeds. Shaun, MM and myself at least (I was a long time lurker before I decided to post).

I just find it interesting that so many of a seemingly small group (WBA and Quagmire are the only others that come to mind, from the UK) live in, or come from Leeds. What makes this little northern city so popular for fitness buffs and potential DJs?

Hmm, well, I'm at uni in Leeds but I lived nearby in Middlesbrough before uni I guess it's because Leeds is AWESOME!! and it's so banging with hot girls and night life. Why wouldn't you wanna walk about with good pick up skills and big arms

I'm originally from Co. Durham. My name shows that I'm a football (soccer for the Americans) fan. Smog monster eh? Must be hard picking up women when you have extra body parts .

Are you at the uni or the met? I'll join the other board to see what it's like, and I might have a look out with you at some point. I go clubbing in Leeds now and then, although I prefer bar crawls. I've found that it's easier to talk to people in bars, and for me, a girl needs to keep my interest. I need to know a little about her before I put my tongue down her throat! It's no good just being hot. When I've got with girls in clubs and arranged to meet again, I'm not being funny when I say that they've all bored me to tears.

If you have some free time, have a look at the "videos that could change your life" post in DJ Discussion. The philosophies talked about are quite similar to my own, but I always thought they were wrong. Johnny Soporno (he has a **** name, but try to get past that!) rationalises things very well, and I don't feel so wrong about thinking the way I do, now.

I'm generally not the best in clubs, as I'm one for dazzling people with my sparkling wit and personality, and I can't do that in clubs... bit too loud! Still, I'm always up for meeting new people!

Yeah, I reckon it's because Leeds has nothing to do, nor any nice women (they're all in Notts ), so you have to turn to gyms.

That said, I love my gym, and my women, i'm just happier in the worlds best city
