why the learning process is always painful?

to learn to get girls you must be rejected a lot
to learn to make money you must loose money
to learn to walk you must fall
to learn to have sex you get really nervous
to learn to ride a car the chances are big that you can hit
etc..

Is there another way of learning?

Experience is the best teacher.

To go biblical for a second, God told Adam and Eve not to eat from that tree, but they did anyway. In that case "information wasn't enough", experience can be much more painful.

As for that comment on getting rejected when talking to women, I've talked to a few that I assume I'm on good terms with and sometimes I still get that wide-eyed:eek: "What does he want from me" look.

Everytime you're going to learn, you're going to have to take some risks. You can mitigate the risks by taking things slower but at some point you've got to do whatever it is you want to do.

parachuters for example take ground classes first, and their first jump is with an experience partner.

so if you're worried about the risks, mitigate them, but don't give up altogether.

No, it doesn't have to be a hard task.

This here is the main reason why organized people succeed more than disorganized people.

It's not that they're smarter, but organized people pace themselves better. So if Disorganized Dan has to read a difficult chemistry textbook, he'll throw himself into it until he gets tired and frustrated, then he'll quit and not come back to it.

Organized Ollie on the other hand, will say, "This is a hard textbook.". He'll break his reading into sections, or even paragraphs and work on those subunits until he understands them. Between subunits, he might take breaks to refresh his energy. So his last memory when he gets up is for successfully completing a subunit, and he'll come to it with more energy as he goes on. Plus he'll be tracking his progress with a list or something on paper, so at a glance he can tell that he's actually doing something.

Why don't go f*ck yourself instead of contributing to the f*cking thread?
What if he's foreigner? Did you think about that? Is he obligated to f*cking write correctly, when most american native users write like dumb f*ckers?

F*ck off

The way i look at it is it's like making money. Thank god it is hard, somewhat painful an not instantaneous.

All I've got going for me is the ability to do these things for the things I want and the majority don't.

Ironically the more you do it, the less painful and the more enjoyable it is.
