"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

in this instance,

just break it off with her. She does NOT want you. Women do not argue unless they are unhappy with something.

She just fed you a load of bullcrap the size of mount Everest.

This does not sound like a healthy relationship, it sounds more like it is on life-support with her (or both of you) wanting to pull the plug. Just let it end because there is a lot of better girls out there for you.

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

maybe I read it wrong but most girls that sound like that usually are just saying that so they are not the ones that break up with each the other person. They don't ever want to feel bad about anything.

Thats just what I got from the posts that I have read up to this point. I'm not there though, so I don't know how she said it or anything.

Another friend came forward and told me that my GF told her the same thing. I sent her a text and she replied saying some **** about how she had some 2nd thoughts at first, but wanted to give it a chance and that she doesn't want me to break up.

Within 5 minutes of that she sends another one saying something like "all this is making me reconsider, you go around asking all my friends what I want. How do they know what's going on in my head".

I told her I'm done talking about it and that I want us to be completely honest and stop going to other people about our problems.

Wow... man, in a few weeks, something tells me you'll be looking back at this and laughing. You're getting so worked up over nothing, honestly. Just break it off. It isn't worth all of the stress you're putting yourself through.

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

I agree with Mr. Rogers on this one. The worst thing that a man can do is hold onto a woman that is letting go.

Let her go and find another one in the sea. I went out with my LDLTR and I never needed to ask for advice. I did not have these types of problems either.

Please just take yourself outside of the situation. Look at how annoyed you are right now at this girl.

Before you guys posted your latest posts, I sent her a text after about 2 hours of no contact saying "you know you're right, I should of just came to you. I'm a jackass".

She replied with, "I'm going to Canada for the weekend, don't know if I'll get cell service there".

To which I replied, "All right, have fun. Call me sometime if you want to".

The final text she sends says, "Sure".

I'm almost positive I put the nail in the coffin myself, so I'm just gonna see where it goes from here. I can pretty much garauntee it's over now. I can see what you guys were saying about LDRs being pointless, but when you like a girl this much before she leaves you hear the advice but you just don't want to believe it.

I have to give you a word of advice about LDR's. They are not for the faint of heart. LDR's are very hard and most of the time very lonely. You must realize it takes a special group of people to be able to survive one.

Don't worry though, it is a good learning experience and go find some other girls that will be better for you.

good luck
