So yeah heard this stuff is basically the **** and helps your muscles recover much faster, in addition to other benefits.

Should I invest in some?
Thoughts?

Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.

I'd be way more concerned with getting my diet perfect at your stage. It has to be taken in high dosages and imo a waste of time and money til you've been lifting for awhile.

It's already in meats, poultry, fish, beans, and dairy. Eat that stuff ;)

I'm not interested in it for just strength training, but also to help me recover from the **** ton of running I do, in addition to the strength training.

From my experience, leucine and creatine are much better supplements when it comes to muscle recovery and protein synthesis. Instead of L-Glutamine specifically, I would suggest an amino acid formula that provides all of the essential amino acids required to build muscle and recover from a hard workout.
