She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.
You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.
She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.
The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.
That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?
She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."
She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.
I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.
Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.
You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.
Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.
She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.
Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.
Why don't you just move (or copy, if that's possible) it to The Archive in that case?Originally posted by crazykid
Due to the chance of this being deleted due to time, Matrix has requested me to bump this for it to stay in the High School bible. Thank you.
Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."
You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.
She's been waiting forty minutes.
Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.
You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.
She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.
Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.
Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.
I think it is safe to say that a lot of people DO believe these things work. It's the most popular thread ever posted for a reason. People didn't "submit", as you say, and follow his advice just for the hell of it. They read what he had to say (without knowing who the hell he was) and went out there and tested his theories. And most of them, like myself, found them to be true. Of course they're all generalizations, but there are certain things that affect women on a deeper level, things that go past what makes up individual characteristics. Also remember that that this site is primarily about attracting HOT women. I'd suggest you test out his theories a little more before making any conclusions.Originally posted by lithian
Dunno if anyone really beleives these things work at all. Its full of wrong presumptions. You guys seem to forget that any crowd (of women) are made of individuals. Some women like much attention, some find it repelling. Here is this, it really made me laugh:
"Imagine if a woman did all of the above to you. Imagine if a woman was OBSESSED with you, always calling you, always available, and always spending her free time FOR YOU. Any interest you had for this woman would soon evaporate."
-- completely untrue, it happened to me twice, and i loved it, (it worked great as a relationship), just like most guys would love it, unless she is some fat ugly slut. I find it pretty anoying that someone just sais you would do this and that, as a strong point for convincing others about HIS TRUTH. This kinda thing works for submissive people, who just nod, '' yep, so true'' Well i dont. I can make up my own mind about these thinks, thank you.
If you guys keep up happily agreeing with posts like that, it shows that pretty cant make up your own mind about anything. Thats the trait fo submissive character: always following someone else who announces himself to be souce of wisdom. On the other hand you all seem to beleive submissive men are considered loosers by women. Think about that, everyone whos so cheerfully agreeing with every word of those posts. One nasty contradiction among many others on this board!! To be honest i basically think most of the stuff I read here is bull**** : ( ,but its an interesting read anyway.
Most guys accidentally kill attraction before they even speak. They assume they need a bigger bank account, a better physique, or smoother lines. They miss the point.
Female desire operates on a specific set of psychological triggers. Break them, and you're invisible. Follow them, and you become magnetic.
I learned this the hard way. Years of freezing up. Getting friend-zoned. Watching other guys walk away with the girl I wanted. Then I discovered a set of 22 simple rules that rewired my entire approach.
