I'm a sports fan, there has always been trash talk in sports. Joe Namath use to be the king of trash talking and no one labeled him as a thug? Why does black have to be associated with being a thug.

There is nothing wrong with trash talk if you can back it up. Richard Sherman stats back it up. The media branded him as a thug, and the sheep went right along with it.

Sherman was fined by NFL today for taunting so the league recognizes did do something wrong. If Sherman lost the game do you think he would have been going up to players saying "good game" wanting to shake their hand?

The only person I've heard call Richard Sherman a thug was himself in an interview - something along the lines of "They think I'm a thug".

As far as song writing Canibus is one of the best ever. As for actual battling he got destroyed by Dizaster a mediocre but popular battle rapper and had to pull out a notepad.

Biggest letdown since Mike Tyson vs. Buster Douglas. (It was that bad.)

And there are several battler rappers out now who though can't make good songs for sht but would destroy Canibus in battle rap now.

As for music?

There are tons of non-pop rappers out there with great music and lyrics. Tons.
