So moved into this new apartment building and my neighbor is hot as hell. Saw her the first couple of weeks and just kind of nodded and said hi, thought it would be smart to just not jump at the first chance to ask her for her number. Eventually did have a convo with her. She moved down from Texas so I told her that I'd take her out some time as I know my city pretty well and got her number couple of days ago. I pretty much see this girl once a day in my building. I am currently thinking my best bet is to keep seeing her and just say hi and not talk to her much and not contact her or ask her out for a while. I think this will really get her thinking. She is smoking hot and I am sure every guy that gets her number instantly asks her out. What do you guys think in terms of when I should contact her and ask her out? Also since I see her in person so much, should I just ask her out within a convo we are having when I see her or just text her and ask her out?

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

Just ask her out. Dont wait because if you two see each other a lot around the building, she could be wondering "hmm, i wonder if hes going to ask me out or not" While your thinking of doing it. Just go ahead and invite her out. If she says "hmm, i dunno hehe" Then just smile and say, "Ok, well text me and let me know, I was thinking of doing something this weekend" THEN you wait it out because you have already knocked the ball in her court. If she doesnt get in contact with you then you know not to waste your time thinking about asking her out or not. On the flip side, the best thing that could happen is she says "OK" and you have yourself a date with a HB. You have an advantage over the other guys right now. Although other guys may have her number, you get to actually see and interact with her in person regularly. Capitalize on it.Jake722 said:
