Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.

The Chiefs are scared to say anything nice about a man who murdered a woman, because then they draw the wrath of the feminist protestors, plus the NFL is trying so hard to recruit female fans (October pink). That sucks for all of the players who really are grieving over his death; it's as though the NFL is not allowed to acknowledge their grief.

The murdered girlfriend had a 3-month old baby. She would have been a prime candidate for post-partum depression, which may have been why they were fighting. He also had at least one head injury on record and then played the next week. That was a few years ago, though. Poor impulse control is a major side effect of the NFL head trauma disease; that's why so many ex-players commit suicide. In this case, the impulse he couldn't control was the one to shoot his girlfriend.

Big surprise....none of the mainstream media want to discuss the fact that the girl friend may have provoked jovan to anger..

I guess its important to note that to mainstream perceptions women are angelic creatures who never provoke men  ...oh right 'alpha' men can never be moved by outside forces

apparently the girl friend threatened to take the child away multiple times and stayed out late frequently...frankly 99% of NFL/NBA wives/gfs are trash cans on legs

I don't think you should shoot your girlfriend.
Does that make me a White Knight?
I don't think so, because part of it is selfishness because I don't want to go to prison.
Does that mean I'm not alpha enough?

Whenever I read about something like this my first thought is, what was this guy's mental schema with regards to how he dealt with women in his life? Just like Junior Seau another girl-world casualty:

And before you throw the traumatic football brain injury line at me:

The story this morning is that the girlfriend went to a 'Trey Songz' concert Friday night and then to the afterparty with her friends. He didn't want her to go out, which is what they were fighting over. Her friends are saying that Belcher was obsessed with the idea that she must be cheating on him with the Trey Songz guy. It sounds a little like paranoid schizophrenia to me, and an increased risk of schizophrenia has been linked to head trauma.

he obviously had bit wrong with his head to even contemplate shooting her but in the coming weeks/months, the truth will filter out about the background

Agreed. She may have been a horrible person, I don't know. Didn't know her personally. But being a bad person generally doesn't merit the death penalty.

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

Dude was drinking heavily every night, abusing pills, had a head injury. I'd want to get my three-month old baby out of there too. She may have been a typical immature 22 year old, but I don't blame her for leaving him, and she didn't deserve to die.

I wonder if he was on booze and pills when he shot her 9 times. Booze and pills can make you do some crazy things. What kind of pills were they?

The b!tch used him and then cheated on him, and it drove him crazy? Maybe she is BPD. Most likely this is it.

Belcher was involved in at least two instances of fighting with a woman while at the University of Maine to the extent that the campus police came.

http://www.usatoday.com/story/sport...e-report-campus-punch-window-cut-arm/1744281/

I also thought the quote from this reuters article to be interesting. If Belcher had always been on steroids, that would explain his amazing athletic prowess and the way he worked his way up to being an NFL starter, although I don't know how easy it is to beat NFL drug testing.

http://www.reuters.com/article/2012/12/04/us-nfl-chiefs-violence-idUSBRE8B305U20121204

Don Hooton, who founded the Taylor Hooton Foundation to promote steroids education in 2004, seven months after his son, Taylor, committed suicide following his use of anabolic steroids, suspects doping.

"Every time I hear a story like this, my mind runs immediately to anabolic steroids," Hooton said. "Not necessarily to the exclusion of anything else, but because anabolic steroids can affect the mind in these crazy ways.

"I hope when they do the autopsy on this young man, that they look for these substances because it's possible that what we saw was 'Roid Rage'"

First thing I thought was "Junior Seau."

While I'm generally in the kill-the-girlfriend camp, in this case, it would have been better for the man if he just left her.

I couldn't care less what would be better for the slvt-wh0re. And yes, the penalty for a woman cheating should be death. How would that be unfair to men? Men always feel like killing themselves when their women cheat on them. Did you know that adultery is a felony in the Philippines that is frequently punished by prison time and loss of rights to home and children?

(There is no such thing as being "fair" to women. All men are always trying to fvck all women, and all women are in constant competition with each other. So don't kid yourself. No one is trying to "help" a woman.)
