What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

Yes, it's a very bad sign. It's a lack of progression. Moving backwards, in fact. If the girl isn't excited to move things forward with you, generally it's a wrap.

Perhaps not, but I have had a relationship with a woman that was somewhat like this. We had had coitus about 8 hours after he knew that the other had existed. She was quite unreceptive to sex after this (although she had relented a few times), and once we had gotten into a long-distance relationship (yes, I know), her legs seemed to be zipped up tight when we got together. Obviously, once I had figured out the trend, I lost interest.

I wouldn't worry about it too much. Just make sure you do better on date 3.

If she wasn't interested she wouldn't be suggesting a date 3.
