"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

Hey to all that read the "i sent a drunk "i love you" email"

just an update,it has taken me ages but i finally got her out of my life, after several arguments after she hated me for sending her that email, she provoked me into a fight on msn for no reason, and i retaliated and said "how about you **** off, before i lose any more respect for you?" and she said "fine *with one of those disappointed faces*..

and she never wrote again,im guessing trying to play on my afc-ness and get me to say sorry..

then tonight on msn,i asked her "are we are still friends?"

her-not at this moment,maybe laaater
me-so i try to be reasonable and this is what i get for my efforts?

she blocked me then

so i sent her an email saying "blocked me? ok then deal, friendships over....merry Christmas"

lol,and deleted her straight off of my myspace, dont feel any care about it whatsoever anymore, thank you s.s

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

you shouldn't have asked if you were still friends or sent an email saying blocked me? it showed your one-itis and gave her the upper hand.

Ye Yeah, you're still coming across AFC. You come across as bitter and rather desperate. The way to conquer oneitis isn't to keep arguing with the girl and trying to get the upper hand. You need to stop talking about her and stop thinking about her. The only way to do this is to NEXT her and start seeing other girls.

At the moment, it seems to me that if she e-mailed you saying, "Hi, I over-reacted to your e-mail and I'm sorry. I value you as a friend and don't want to lose you," then you would be sucked right back in.
