So there's this girl who's LGBFed me a few weeks back, and I immediately gave her the NC treatment, hoping to salvage a relationship. So far so good: she's been trying to chat me up whenever we bump into each other at school, and I reckon I've maintained just the right amount of interaction .... So today I decided to take the plunge and go talk to her during lunch break, and guess what: she tells me her grandmother just died. Which explains her weird behaviour these few days, totally cutting herself off from the outside world.

What should I do? Should I comfort/console her (AFC-like)? Or should I let this thing pass before trying any further?
