"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

Okay, so the girl of my dreams finally has started to hang out with me. We chilled a few weeks ago a few times but sicne hten we just chilled every once in a while. Then this weekend came and she was text messaging me like crazy, both firday and saturday. She met me at this party but she ended up leaving out before I got to talk to her for too long. Then on Saturday night, she started texting and calling again and i was liek alright lets chill and then finally I didn't make plans with her I kinda left her hanging...Is this good cause now she'll start beingliek who would he rather hang out with I gotta get him to hang with me. or is this a bad thing?

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

It sounds like its going well. It's good that you aren't hanging out all the time, otherwise one of the two of you would get bored of the other. It's also good that you are showing her that you have other things going on in your life. Keep it up and keep her looking forward to hanging out with you.

Being unavailable...and ditching someone are different.....if you plan on being unavailable, just tell her you have plans before hand...

I think it was a bad thing.
