"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

Is there any reason I should chill with this girl?

A few weeks ago I hung out with this girl that I had a class with. I never number closed her because I wasn't feeling the vibe. She got at me on facebook and we started talking from there. I took her to go shopping with me, and then we were going to get something to eat. When we got to the restaurant, she told me that "her significant other texted her and that she had to go back to her place." I was kind of dumbfounded. I totally wasn't expecting that. Just for the hell of it, I made plans again with her. I don't really have any intentions of keeping the plans given her behavior last time, but if some of you seasoned veterans would advice to do otherwise, then I will.

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

I have to agree. Send her a text 5 minutes after ur supposed to meet, "sorry, my girl is jealous, I can't go."

Dude, that sounds soooo good. I think I might bust it out. Right now, I am just trying to weigh things out. I mean, I know Tyler Durden would probably go through with it and F-close her. I am not Tyler Durden though.

Yeah, you are right. It is vindictive. I was thinking about doing it in a CnF way and then be like "haha, I'm just kidding."

So what do you think? I should try to plow through this one?

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

It depends:

You say you "were going" to a restaurant. Did you make plans beforehand to go to a restaurant? If so, she blew you off, and she'll just blow you off next time anyways.

Tyler Durden suggests letting a chick stand you up all she wants, in order to get a chance at getting your d!ck wet. I just don't have time for that.

No, we didn't make plans before hand. We went to the mall as we had planned. Then we were going to go to dinner. When we got to the Restaurant however, she told me that her "significant other" texted her and she has to be back at her place.

So, as you can see, her telling me that she had a "significant other" seems to be a real IOD. At the same time, her messaging me and asking if the raincheck to get together again had expired seems to be an IOI. I am just trying to decide what to do.

Oh, well in that case, she wasn't rude at all! Don't call her rude, or anything.

Take her out again, someplace cheap. See if you can make anything happen.

her telling me that she had a "significant other" seems to be a real IOD.
Yeah, if she REALLY wanted you, she would just keep her mouth shut about her bf, and say "my friend texted me."

Don't expect much. It sounds like she lives with her bf.

"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.

if she is willing to go out with you, just show her the time of her life and if you can give her more fun than her bf, she will leave him for you
