"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

I cannot tell for the life of me if this chick is still into me or not. She is not an easy one to figure out. We went out 3 times and she was tellin me how she felt so comfortable around me and she said we really clicked and had good chemistry. She was texting me every day for no reason, being really sweet and crap.
Then i made the bonehad move of askin if she was still seeing other guys on match.com where we met. She told me she met one since me, and that she wants to take thigns slow before declaring any titles. Since then shes been a bit cold and hardly contacts me at all, not even on aim. But now i ignored her a couple days(meaning no AIM messages, and no texts or calls) and she called me last night to tell me she had a "crazy!" story for me. I have a feelin the story was made up cuz it doesnt seem logical at all. Could she have just made it up so shed have a reason to talk to me? She seems like she has a lot of pride, thats why i kinda suspect that. She prob didnt wanan call just to say hello cuz then id know she liked me or watver. Do girls think like that? I dunno bout this one, my gut feeling tells me i scared her away a little by hinting at become exlusive after only 3 dates. I know that was retarted and deserve a beatdown for stupidity but I cant go back in time and change it unfortunately. I think she is genuinely into me tho and now she just feels tentative about coming on too strong cuz then she thinks ill wanna be exclusive right away. Could that be it? And do girls make stupid calls like that just to hear our voice? I wonder

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

I was a lurker for a long time on this board, then i dated a girl for a yr, got dumped and came back. Decided to start posting a few months ago. I read alot of the quick tips and stuff. never read the bible. I find that this site helped me alot last yr, i used it when i met my ex gf, and she pretty much asked me out. But i dunno i feel like i know all the righ tthigns to do and not to do, but i cant stop myself from messing up. Why on earth did i ask her if she wasseein other match guys, i thoguht it would come across as playful and cute. i just looked like a loser askin her that.

I'm not even into getting laid, this girl is just different. I am def not that experienced for my age - 25. But ive had some gf's and been on a lot of dates, and this one is by far the best i've clicked with and she isnt even that good looking, just cute. maybe this site isnt the site for me, since i dont really car ebout gettin in her pants, i just want a relationship wit her.

Read the bible and go through a boot camp.
