"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

Here is an interesting quiz that shows the variables that women consider the difference makers in the men they date.

1) What's worse, being single or dating someone you don't click with?
2) When people bring up your boyfriend and how amazing he is and how blessed you are, you...?
3) Suppose your guy suddenly lost his job or started balding, does it matter?
4) What do people say about the two of you?
5) Do you ever hold back when talking about your your guy to your friends?
6) Supposed it ended tomorrow. What would you really be more upset about?
7) How does it get when you guys are alone together for a really long time?
8) Have you ever played single for a night (or wanted to just for fun)?
9) You have a date with your boyfriend tonight. How do you feel about it?
10) What do your friends think when you ask them about the two of you?
11) Do you ever brag about your boyfriend to other people?
12) Has sex ever felt like a chore?

Possible outcomes: In Love, Forcing it

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

Wow great way to plant doubt ... imagine if a male's magazine askmen do you ever fantasize about sleeping with other women? Must not be in love
I would consider anyone who spends their time on things like cosmo and other pop culture garbage to be a red flag in the first place.

Not sure if it reminds me the laws of a third world country that conflicts with each other or a computer in which 4 different types of antivirus are installed.

Who cares...
If you are banging the ****ake out of her and being a leader in your relationship she will be in love with you.

If you have to ask cosmo whether you are in love I am going to guess that you probably aren't.

Notice that half the questions involve what here friends and what others think? This is completely accurate when it comes to women. They care a great deal about what their friends think because women gain status from the men they are dating. If she doesn't think her status is better with you, you better be a beast in bed and make her tingle.

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

Exactly. Until she can talk to her friends about you and they can agree, her opinion of you remains in limbo. I'm fairly certain I've never picked up a girl whose friends didn't approve of me.

I don't think it needs to be her friends. She just needs to know other women find you attractive.
