I would consider anyone who spends their time on things like cosmo and other pop culture garbage to be a red flag in the first place.

If you have to ask cosmo whether you are in love I am going to guess that you probably aren't.

Exactly. Until she can talk to her friends about you and they can agree, her opinion of you remains in limbo. I'm fairly certain I've never picked up a girl whose friends didn't approve of me.
