It seems like it lol
When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.
Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.
Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.
The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.
I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.
The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.
Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.
You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.
She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.
Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.
Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.
The reasons for becoming MGTOW are not always the result of not getting any women. When I think of MGTOW, I think about a man who has tried PUA advice, but it hasn't worked for him. Maybe he doesn't have the tools or motivation or whatever, so he gives up on trying to attract women. Then he tries to make the best life he can for himself with that in mind.
They say feminism is for unattractive women, so that does sound pretty similar - maybe the OP is correct.
I tend to see those guys as regular "DJs", if they are good with women.Starwolf said:There are some men who just don't see the need to comply with the traditional way of living. Getting married, buying a house, raising kids etc.
Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.
Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?
You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.
Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.
I do not mean to become reckless. I simply mean that you don't think about certain scenarios because you aren't afraid, you don't care what others think of you, and the social skills you have are of second nature, thus you do not need to think about it. So why waste time and think about it? The real man is extremely rational.sylvester the cat said:A man who acts without thinking Is a foolish man.
Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."
You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.
She's been waiting forty minutes.
Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.
Along with any girl over 27 won't give the male the time of day unless he has money.zekko said:I've always thought that with MGTOW, they've even rejected the casual dating and plate spinning, along with the marriages and LTRs. Today's wh0res aren't worth the effort, that sort of thing. That's what sets them apart. Maybe that's just me though.
Yet I see fat ugly bald men with womenTrump said:Along with any girl over 27 won't give the male the time of day unless he has money.
The effort, money, and time required by males to get to their desired outcome, when in high school and college all the genetically blessed and good game guys got the results, is almost not worth it. Add that to the fact the girls can be very difficult team players, there are not too many options left.
I agree with that too. There are many reasons for that, even beyond looks. Some men have a social awkwardness about them that stems from their childhood. It may be caused by some negative early experiences with women, their peers, as well as at home. It becomes very difficult to fix later in life, and as women age, they demand MORE confidence and savior-faire from men. So some of these guys fall so far behind with respect to women's expectations that they give up and leave the dating scene.zekko said:Regarding seeing fat ugly bald men with women:
I think that what attracts a particular woman to a particular man can be a very complicated soup indeed, and it may not be able to be easily explained, even with what we know.
Agreed. Rest assured that she doesn't find him ugly. We may never fully understand why women are attracted to certain guys.
I DON'T think it is that hard of a thing to get a girl to date you. However, I DO recognize that for some guys, it becomes a nearly impossible task. For a variety of reasons. For these guys, maybe the effort it takes to succeed really is more than it is worth. Or the journey is so hard and long for them, they lose heart and give up long before they reach some success.
Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.
She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.
Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.
So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.
The words come later. The impression comes first.
