I just got a new vacuum today and man this ****ing thing rocks! It's getting all kinds of dirt that the last vacuum didn't pick up.

Is it wrong that I get this excited over a vacuum cleaner?

You know you are getting old when a kick-ass vacuum cleaner gets you as excited as a woman.

on the plus side... life is good when the simple things please you

Well definitely a vaccuum cleaner is nice that you can unplug if it gets too whiney....as well as replace the old bag without people giving you crap about it.

a good vaccuum cleaner will be always cheaper and will last longer than a bad relationship.
maintenance costs are ridiculous. Just change the bag every 6 months and you've got a brand new one, then.
So bad, it can not cook as well !

it's a hoover. not sure what model. the thing is so powerful that it pulls itself forward!

Don't get too attached to your vacuum cleaner. They love to suck hard at first, then they'll whine for a new bag or belt and stop sucking until they get one. It's all about them even though you paid big money for it in advance.

I had one that I was very attached to that would suck on command. After a while, it refused to suck and I dumped it on a needy friend. Next thing I know, he spent a few bucks on it and it was sucking like there was no tomorrow. It broke my heart but made me realize it is all about money.

I'm over it now and ready to take the plunge again. I'm going for a foreign one. These domestics feel a sense of entitlement and don't deserve me.
