Master Don Juan
Hello friends! Johnny here.
Has anyone else noticed that almost every workplace seems to have "that one person"?
You know the type: usually a manager or someone in a position of authority who seems determined to undermine others, discredit their work, or blow small mistakes out of proportion. No matter the company or industry, it feels like this personality shows up everywhere.
(For context I've changed my job, and as soon as I've completed my first week, I've actually spot this guy, which I actually had weird gut feelings for right at the beginning. Look like that as soon as I've entered the job, He went 100% insecure. I might have activated something in him)
For those of you with more experience, how have you learned to deal with people like this? Has your approach changed over the years? Do you see them as just another workplace challenge, or have they ever been enough of a reason, a dealbreaker, to leave a job?
